Trying to install new HD slave/master setup from South Bend. This new master cylinder mounts with a plate with two studs. The original mounts with a rubber grommet. This new one looks nothing like the original. The Tech guy as PDR said to mount it where ever I wanted on the fire wall as long as the reservoir was horizontal. This make now sense. THe rod has to line up with the pin and the pedal. Did they send me the wrong part? He also said it is not a direct bolt up. What does that mean? DO I need to drill holes for the studs?
