I just put in my d/v's last week and during the test drive I blew apart a trans line quick disconnect. Lost about 9 qts of fluid. I got it fixed now and when I am driving normally and it shifts into overdrive it shifts back to 3rd quick and then to overdrive. This is the 2nd time I have run it out of trans fluid. Do I have a serious problem or is it something stupid? Any help would greatly rest my nerves! Thanks

 

Toasted like mine. Same thing happened to me only mine slips really bad in all gears.. DTT here I come!!

 

Best place for a trans rebuild on a stock truck that may be used occasionally for heavy pulling?
