While I have the interior out of my 97 clubcab I would like to lower noise inside (as much as possible). Going on long trip and wife complains about the noise, even after I bought her a nice set of headphones. LOL Any advice on sound proofing? Appreciate any help.

Thanks,
John.

I'd use some (a lot) sound deadening material on the rear of the cab.
If you have everything out, drum on the surfaces with your fist. (easy does it) You will find where the sheetmetal resonates a lot :-)

You can also stuff a pool noodle in the front fender just in front of the door. (helps a little with the high pitch noise from the front)
Check the weather striping of the hood, if you have lost some of the parts like #1 and #4 in the pic replace them

Did you pull the seats and carpet? A layer of sound absorbing mat on the floor should help.

Don't know what's best. I've seen Dynamat (? name) advertised. From a purely technical standpoint, a sheet of a dense material is called for. Can you get a sheet of metallic lead?

Over here we get a material made of metal weighted rubber.

You cut it to fit and then it vulcanizes to the metal with heat and an activator.
Depending on your age I might be inclined to disagree on working with lead without a lot of expensive precautions.

Since I do not know what's available in your location I think maybe the following link may help:
