Dial indicator
Dial indicator
So I borrowed a timing kit from a guy and I messed up the dial indicator and I want to get him a new one before I give it back. Where and how much can I get the dial indicator? Im trying to avoid buying a whole new timing kit.

you can get decent metric dial indicators for less than 60 bucks. Look around at all your options. Snap on is nice, but no better than anyone else.
If you can, find Starrett, or Mitutoyo. Both excellent brands, although, the genuine "wan-tai" knock offs are pretty good, and the "Ho-Chi" models are getting better all the time. the manufacturing process is starting to improve greatly.

there is a link to a very good quality metric dial. Just a starting point. I realize that one is just under $100. but there are cheaper ones out there.
Good Luck
