Which delivery valves?
(Description of truck is in my sig) Well, a simple head gasket repair has turned into a giant snowball that keeps going faster and getting bigger by the second. After I got into this project I discovered my turbo was about to fail (cracked compressor wheel) and now I'm into several other maintenance items and upgrades. The head is currently at the machine shop getting shaved and a valve job done. I've ordered a Phat Shaft 62/65/14 and 7x.010 injectors. It was recommended to me that I also change out the DV's at the same time. 024's were recommended. So now, I have a few questions. I've seen a bunch of DV numbers, 191, 022, "full cut", etc. What do the numbers mean? I'm also not exactly 100% sure what the DV does. I'm assuming going to a larger ones means the IP is able to flow more fuel to the injectors? If 024 is not the best idea, what is? The only other mod I have planned right now is a 3K GSK.

If you deside you want the 022 or 024 I have a set of one of them. I'll have to look again and see. If you are going to change them I would go with nothing larger than one of those. I thing the 024's flow just a little more than 191's. Don't worry about full cuts. You have nowhere near enough air for them.
