Have you ever dynoed yours, sounds like your making big power. Just curious though why you choose 300 inj's do they just still work well with all your other pump mods. I know you said you were maybe going to a larger or maybe dual feed but how much diff. do you think theres to be had in just a set of 435's like i purchased, i thought the price was really res. for the power they adv. thier new eras edm'ed 5x14 ive read they rate them at 140hp? Do you think this will be a good inj. for me with the other mods, i know its prob. going to be Hot and smokey.

Yes i think those are great injectors. A buddy of mine (Smokin Flatbed) runs them in his 12 valve. They are a good price too. I talked to terry at powerparts about them he just wants me to go to these custom ones. They should be plenty of injector for anything really. The 300's cost me like $325 and at the time did not want to go with 370's because of the wrong spray pattern. Smokin Flatbed has a youtube account that has a video of me pulling on there. It it at our little hometown pull but it will still show you how my truck runs. I believe it is titled Tims 12valve full pull. The reason i am thinking about goin to a 5x18 dual feed is because i want to change to 5k gsk and possibly go to a bigger pump. I want to make sure i have enough fuel to run 5000 rpm's. The 300's work fine but will probably not be enough for the top end. I have tried to dyno it once and it only did 388/900 but the guy did not have a break on his dyno and was using truck brakes to spool my turbo which did not work. It only built 45 lbs and i run about 70 lbs when pulling so after that i hav'nt tried since. Once the turbo started to spool then he would let off the breaks but then it just freewheeled and the numbers just droped off because of no load. I did not know that until after i paid him the money. any more question or comments just pm me or you could call me. If you want my number just let me know. Tim

I hear the rack plug on a 180 pump would work good because they dont have the notches.I put the rack plug in mine dont know if it helped(I put the 435's in at the same time)but it gave it alot more travel so I would assume it did some. If you keep the stock lines just have the holders EDM'd to .078" stock is .025

Thanks for that tip scooter, what do you think id notice with my setup inlarging the holders to .078" you say my 180 stockers are .025? Pretty good diff. i would say in size, is there any down side to opening them up? Think they would have to be sent to a specailtiy shop for the edm or maybe a injector shop could do it? Thanks

Thanks for the link Scooter.

stock600: I think the main thing is how much fuel do you want to run, how many rpms to turn and what sive of turbo you are going to have.

What turbo are you planning on runnin? You might have a little to much fuel on the bottom with a auto but when you get on top of the charger it will probably boogie. You would notice a increase in the top end like Tim said. I honestly would run them stock for now and If you need more fuel later on is when I would get some. If you need some info on where to get some PM me or Tim.

As far as I know the stock lines are .078" then they go .084",.093",.120"
The holders I would not know for sure on the holders as I got this info from someone else but im sure .025" was stock. maybe they were already edmed bigger.

I dont know about the stock size of the holders, but on my brothers there was a noticable to the eye difference and it was pretty substantial. The hole ontop looks roughly the same size, but flip the over and look where the fuel goes in to the holder is where we could really tell the difference.

Oh ok, i was just looking from the top just before i put the line set back on. May be it is a taper, just to be sure you are ref. to the hole in the holder and not in the deal that looks like a jet on top of the spring just below the holder correct? By the way what is this jet, and could increasing the dia. in it also help. Best i can tell the fuel that exits the D.V. has to get through the jet before it enters the holder and on out the hard line. It is an interesting set up in there, might also be something in shimming the little springs for more or less press?? Noticed all mine have 1 shimm already from the factory thats only around .10" any thought or comments, thanks guys
