Re:clutches

Sledpuller, I think I talked to you earlier about a Centerforce, I should have listened (trying to save a buck). Is the EE clutch a modified McLoed? Just curious. Also, does Crower or Ram or any popular gasser companies make a decent clutch for the 5.9? thanks.

Re:clutches

I just wanted to see if you had the Haisly Comp clutch in your truck at one point. Or if you were "cheerleading"! LOL

Re:clutches

I only cheerlead for companys that deserve it, and only where it is appropiate, like this thread.

QUOTE:
"Sledpuller, I think I talked to you earlier about a Centerforce, I should have listened (trying to save a buck). Re:clutches

Thanks for the info, maybe I won't make the same mistake twice, (although that $289 NAPA clutch would be easy on the wallet!!!)

I doubt that, but it is two bad it melted down and could not run the next night.

Sledpuller, I think I talked to you earlier about a Centerforce,
Amen. I have a centerforce that is supposed to hold 800ft lbs of Tq. Well I don't have 800 ftlbs but I am close. around 770. I pull a lot of trailers with hay and cattel, and tractors. some loads gety really heavy. To make a long story short. The centerforce lasted a mounth. maybe. And now I can slip it any time I want.
> > > >
that is all I have to say about that.
Aaron

Re:clutches

Gene is the head cheerleader!! I just stated a fact Gene. I haven't personally run one of Mitchell's clutches, but know of a few who have. I didn't say they were junk...but they aren't the only one out there.

Oh by the way Gene...Kent had a Haisley comp clutch at Scheid's when he crushed your IDOL!! The same one the rest of us use. 1 and 15+?? Blah, blah. Too bad he melted down,eh? You're right Gene...he didn't need to spank EVERYONE two nights in a row.

Ahh....Jesup could be interesting.
Re:clutches

I wish I could come to Jesup,Gene. Too bad my motor is sitting on the floor in my barn. But you'll be delighted to know that the IN posse will be well represented!

You only kicked my butt ONE time! And Fuller only put a foot on me with his twins and a free ride!

I love ya Gene!!
