I wasnt paying attention when I pulled it because I figured it only fit one way? But it fits both ways is the drain plug on top or bottom?

 

I did the same thing. if you look at the clutch wiring, it comes out towards the top and that side should be mounted up. Also the ports on the rear, one of them is in the center and the other should be towards the top, if not you have it upside down
