buying 12v

my brother is looking at buying a used 12v and was wondering if their were better or worse years within the 95-98 line of production as far the drivetrain goes.any info would be helpful. thanks, zoomie

Love my 97 its been rock solid. ;D The 3 door would have been nice on the 98.

If I remember correctly the '96's were also 215hp from the factory so you get the bigger injectors right from the start. I have a '96 and it is great, I just wish they'd have come with the 3rd door but I never have to climb in the back anyway, its my truck!! All of these trucks are great but I'd say find a 96-98 12 valver.<br><br>John<br><br>

96 - 98 12 valve Stick 215 hp. Auto 180 hp.<br><br>If you want the bigger inj. go with the stick or go on to some 370's. ;D<br><br> : Eddie : 8)
