boost leak ?
boost leak ?
When testing for boost leaks, should the engine HOLD psi? I always thought that there would always be an intake valve open.
I have tested my truck a few times over the years. I just recently changed a bunch of stuff and now my EGTs are high and I am going to test for leaks in the morning.

There will always be air leaking though the engine, that's why you need a big compressor to keep up.
Some people plug off the airhorn side then pressurize at the turbo side for no leaks while testing.
Thick inner tube with a hose clamp makes a cheap plug.
