Blowby and oil level as guage?

I have been putting some miles on the ebay beater to see
if the basics are good before the winter wrenchin session.

My question is, if you have no significant oil loss in 3-4k miles
does this indicate that you DO NOT have any blowby issues?

I would think I could do a compression test when the injectors
are serviced when I get to that stage?

I just want to make sure before the credit card comes out.

Happy Holidays

Im not sure where you live but if it gets cold there and your truck starts good in cold weather( below 10 deg.) then you probably don't have excess blow by. You have a vent tube that goes down next to the oil pan, you could check the blow by pressure if you want to. The manual can tell you what normal is. But normally if your vent tube isn't spewing oil all over the under side of you vehical and you have no excess oil consumption and good cold starting then you are probably good to go.
