Best price I can find for a BHAF is: $56.22 shipped from Amaon (Wix 42790)
Vulcan Performance has the BHAF and an Outerwear for $93.86 shipped

Any cheaper prices out there than these?

Also, is there anywhere to get the BHAF heat shield pre-made?
I've seen the template in the FAQ, but would rather have the time.

I had a BHAF on my first truck. This one I went with a Afe synthetic that fits in the stock airbox. I did lots of reading and went this route for the cool air, never having to purchase another filter, and I believe the air flow is adequate for the motor (#10 plate, afc tweeked, 4" exhaust, timing 16 degrees-gov springs adjusted in near future). Think I found the filter on sale for 55. including shipping
Whatever I do to the truck is for mileage and longevity.
Just my thoughts..

I had one few years back. Napa 2790 (it will cross to the wix part number you posted) and think I paid $48 bucks at the time.
