Best way to install GSK

Is the easiest way to take the inner fender out of the front driver's side. I think this is how I did it last time. Just seeing if anyone knows an easier way. Also, What size socket is nessicary to take the pug out? Thanks

I'd go in from the side of the pump. I removed the fuel shutoff solenoid and bracket for easier access.

i want to say the plug is 7/8". i know people say you can count clicks to get it installed right, i tried that and have been messing with mine ever since. havnig the right caliper would be a must have if i ever do it again.

Caliper saved my bacon.. I counted clicks bit I was out by a 1/2 turn at the end. Using the calipers to measure the depth is critical IMHO..

I went through the side plug, little bit of oil, but there is supposed to be a drain plug/bolt on the back of the pump that I read about somewhere.. Of course this was after I made a mess.
