Took off from a stop sign 3/4plus throttle and went to get back in it and started having a miss. No water in oil or water or leaks best I can tell. Headgasket is okay I think. Had about 1/8th tank of fuel put low fuel light wasn't on. What would cause it to run fine and then miss real bad???? Timing sliped or injector gone bad. It runs better in higher rpm. I dont have any unusual temps or smoke. No white smoke. Any Ideas ?? What are symptoms of a bad injector. PS 210k miles.

 

First thing is to check for low fuel pressure. Could be as simple as a plugged main or pre-filter.

 

For whatever reason the it fixed itself last night I got into it leaving the gas station on the way to my fiends shop and it smoothed right out and runs fine now. I forgot the tap so I still dont have the fuel filter hooked up. I guess the trash worked its way out????
