Last night my truck was not running right. Not much power going up hills, felt like it was missing or not getting fuel. Changed fuel filter today got air in the lines bled the lines truck started, but the problem was not fixed. Checked codes and got 1693 and 0230. I was looking around on the sight here but could not really find an answer. just wondering if anyone has experienced this. Thanks. I dont know if my signature is showing or not but i have a 2001 5spd only thing done to it is straight piped

 

I think your lift pump took a dump. 0230 is Lift Pump Out of Range. The other is an ECM code that's set by 230 (I think). I go right there.

 

P1693 is a companion code- it just says that there is at least one error code present in anotehr module. 230 lift pump out of range speaks for itself. Hope you don't get 0216 which indicates a malfunction of the injection pump timing circuit.
