Aux. water temp gauge

Where can you tap for a sender on a 97? A friend of mine is wanting to install an auxillary water temperature gauge and we have no idea on where to put one.

Behind the fuel filter is a ½" NPT plug in the head.

edit (finish message ... then hit send)
I think an oil temp is better than a second coolant temp.

Not sure on the reason for the extra water temp gauge, but his truck is seriously bombed and he must have some reasoning to this. I will tell him to check out the port. He went with digital gauges so they will be easier to glance at while pulling.
