i know this has been talked about and talked about, and done...but im asking for my buddy....i found a link to a thread, "complete 5 speed conversion notes" and i printed it for him, and just wanting to make sure im not missing any details for him before he goes through with it.... he has a 97 reg cab long bed (auto), and he has an 02 reg cab longbed rolling chassis, minus motor....(6 speed)...he can use all that stuff from the rolling chassis, plus a few little things like listed in the notes...pedals, shifter...etc...and it will all work correctly right? i know there has been lots of 5 speed conversions done, and thats the stuff i printed for him, just wanting to make sure theres not something im missing to do the 6 speed..since he has the rolling chassis i dont think it will be bad, but i dont want to misslead him..thanks for the help..
