i was wondering if turbos that drag cars and street cars would work on a diesel for example the gt35 or gt42?

 

The simple answer to your question is no. The problem is volume and volumetric efficiency. A gas engine typically handles a few pounds of boost, and a diesel requires several times the pressure to effectively boost the combustion process. Gas turbos are low pressure, there are a few exceptions but not on the street, and diesels are high pressure units.
