alternative to marker lights?

My sidemarker lights look like they've seen better days. Some have some moisture and another looks dim. (They seem sealed) Here's the question.....Have any of you replaced the side marker lights (the ones on the dually bed) with another type of light like LED's? I can't even find the darned factory replacement types. Any help would be appreciated.

one of the reasons I would consider LED's is due to the reduced current draw...christ, add a camper too and thats alotta watts!! :-*

TJ

Check www.awdirect.com. They have LED's that could be used. I have them on my running boards and on my GN trailer.

Replacement lites made by Grote are the same lens style and you can get many other makes that have LEDS in them as well. These lenses are common on Highway tractor trailers and trucks. Try a truck stop or a trailer repair/sales centre for those parts.

Something local to me is Fort Garry industries. They are a trailer dealer and sell everthing from mud flaps to brake pots for heavy equipment. Bins full of those lites...

J-eh
