Re:ABS & BRAKE lights staying on
sounds like you either have a major vacuum leak or your vacuum pump has quit check all your lines for leaks you can also check for vacuum at the pump with the truck running remove the hose and see if you have any vacuum.

Re:ABS & BRAKE lights staying on
If you do not have heat you have no vacuum to operate the heater also your brake pedal is hard because you have a vacuum brake booster and I'll bet you don't have any vacuum

Re:ABS & BRAKE lights staying on
BRAKE & ABS lights only come on after 2 minutes of driving.
problem with heat a large seperate issue. the doors ALL work I verified it several times.
I have been back under the dash to verify that everything I took apart is back together.
Is there any type of electrical relay or vacuum check valve that may have gotten disconnected when I had the whole dash apart. ?
Is there a Sure fire way to test vacuum pump. I saw a small 'T' port off one of the larger hoses . can I hook a regular vacuum gauge to that port?? what should it pull at idle?
Oh yeah , I asked what next??
Now the cruise control does not work either. I had to ask!
THEN
someone here at work stole my Haynes manual. Thanx,DAVE

Re:ABS & BRAKE lights staying on
Everything you mentioned that does not work is controlled by vacuum you can use your gauge it does not mater where you hook your gauge as long as it is a vacuum port I am not for sure how much you should have but I would say somewhere around 10hg.
