1998 ram nv 4500 hard to shift into 1st at stop lights but not all the time -is slave cylinder bleedable ? is this common problem ? anyway clutch works perfect and only six months old . but it is annoying sometimes trying to get in gear but if you try a couple times it will go normally ?

 

It is more than likely your syncros. Try clutching to pull it out of 2nd bump the throttle then clutch again and hold light, but steady pressure on the stick.... Should work; it will cut the syncro's work load by closer matching the shaft speeds (they call it double clutching)
