97 Ram 3500 won't start

Ok a little back ground info. My truck is a 1997 3500 4x4 diesel automatic and is bone stock. This past weekend my starter got hung up and eventually siezed up causein the engine to shut off, I just replaced the starter this afternoon and a fuse that I assume had blown during the fiasco (10A Engine Fuse), now the engine turns over fine and strong but won't bust off. I am apparently not getting fuel to the injectors I checked the pigtail connector that hooks up to the fuel shutoff solenoid and it is getting no power. My question is could that be my issue? If so where does that wiring start at if this is not my problem then what could it be?

Sounds like you didn't hook the small brown wire back up to the starter.

Or the wires inside broke and the brown insulation is all that is holding it together.......Wire the fuel lever up and see if it starts.

when the starter hangs it normally burns up the fuel solinoid itself- as when the starter is on there is more power going to the fuel solinoid for a short ammount of time, sounds like your starter stuck and it burned up the solinoid and thats what shut your truck off
