97 dodge 5 speed

is it possible to have a straight 5speed manual meaning 5th gear isnt overdrive it is just another gear. the truck is a 97 cab and chassis with the 215hp 12 valve 4:10 rearend gears.

the only difference is the shift ****. i believe mine says 1,2,3,4,5, my dads says L,1,2,3,OD , his is a 96. both 4.10s

oh yeah his is a cab and chassis 2wd

i was just wondering because it dont really bog down like most 5speeds when shifting from 4th to 5th wile pulling a load
