95 won't start
95 won't start
My buddy has a 1995 Dodge with a 12 valve Cummins in it. I know it has at least 1/2 a tank of fuel in it. he drove it to the store and shut it off, when he came out it wouldn't start. he had this problem before on this truck after filling up the fuel tank, changed the fuel filter and primed the injectors and it ran fine. Now, a couple weeks later, it won't start. tried priming the injectors again but no luck. I have read some things that might be pointing to the lift pump or a fuel shut off on these trucks. Has anyone had any experience with a problem like this? Thanks for any constructive help.
your sucking air thru the fuel lines or your fuel shut-off soleniod isnt pulling up. crank the motor and see if the lever is pulled up on the fuel pump. (the lever connected to the cylinder with 3 10-gauge wires on it ) usually its the relay on the cowl. NOT the expensive fuel shut-off soleniod
