'94?? Desirable for power??

I am looking at a '94 auto. My plans are to make a puller out of it. I plan to swap to a manual but is this motor any diffrent than 95-98 12 valves? I read wher it holds 10 quarts of oil. Why not 11 like the other 12 valvers? Also what are my options for the pump??? I know the 94 auto is the weakest for power so what can I do?? Can I have this pump modified, get a 97-98 manual pump, or piers stoopid pump?? Pleae help me get started.

Thanks,
Chad

What do you plan on pulling? The 160 pump has plenty of potential, some have reported 400 hp with them.

I will be close if not over 400HP here soon. If I'm not over 400HP then the pump is going to a pump shop for sure. If you going to make a puller out of it then the pump is going to have to come off and have some work done, but most people who make pullers out of the 215 HP motors have work done to them too so its not really going to matter because the money you will save buying the 94 will make up for the difference.

Just learned this on the oil quantity,The correct amount is 11 quarts.
Both manuals Haynes and factory are wrong as there was a dip stick issue. I have just changed my oil and added the 11th quart and remarked the stick to reflect it. http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1994/09-16-94.htm This explains the problem. You can make that 94 do whatever you want it to,, If your pockets are deep enough,, Goodluck,,, Rick
