hey guys i noticed at my local wreckers that the 8.3 has the same pumps!...im interested in more info on the similarities....are they all 215 pumps? (in the 8.3's)...or something even better?...what about the injectors? are they interchangeable?...what injectors do the 8.3's usually have?

 

iknow the 8.3 pump oils different from the 5.9 dont think they will easily interchange.

 

Although the overall structure is similiar they're much bigger motors, very few if any of the parts on a 8.3 will fit a 5.9L there's alot of pictures of 8.3's in my gallery, and the pumps are similiar, I don't think they're p7100 pumps, although some of them are bosch pumps. There's a very long thread in the General Diesel forum on the 8.3 and possible swaps and such, do a search if you're looking for info, is was in november or december of last year I believe.
