Hello i have a ram3500 4x4 automatic and the 4x4 light on the dash keeps going on and off. sometimes it stays on for a few minutes sometimes it blinks on and off. i noticed it blinks off and on when i come to a stop and start back moving. does this mean that i'm low on fluid. Iv'e checked the trans fluid and seems ok. any help would be apreciated thanks.

do you have the stock OEM vacum system? IE what year is your truck? Im supposing in the 12V forum its 94-98, but if it gets stuck, you might wanna check the little electrical connectors at the bottom where the axle connects to the vaccum lines, perhaps one of them is grounding out and causing your 4WD indicatior to come on...

it's a 1997 I pressure washed all under the truck maybe I knocked something loose I will check thanks.

 

Mine used to do that too. The problem was the wireing harness that runs to the 4X4 switch on the front axle. Check the wires carefully. Mine were rubbing together so I needed to replace the wires from the switch to the first connector near the bumper.
