3 position lockup/od switch. I stink at wiring.

As some of you know, I am doing a NV4500 to 47rh conversion in my 97.

I was talking to Dave Goerend and he mentioned someting about a 3 position switch.

He said it would work like this.
Down/Bottom=off, no lockup or od
Middle=lockup on
Up/Top=lockup on and OD on.

There will be no computer controlling lockup, like a automatic truck has.

Who knows how to wire this? I know someone on here does.
Like I said I suck at wiring.

Also, is there anyway to use say 2 light of different color.
Say when the switch is in the middle, it would light up green
and when it up in the top/up position it could be a different color.

When we go camping we like to leave at night, that way the kids sleep and we can drive in peace and quite.

Thanks guys.

First read this http://www.tstproducts.com/Torque%20...p%20Switch.pdf

Directions are different if you want a no lock up position, you have to cut the blk/org wire.

I don't think you'll find a switch that will do the things you desire in the way you want to configure it as most three way switches have a center off position.
Center off breaking the connection of the blk/org wire = no lock up.

One switch position other than center will connect the blk/org back to the PCM = OD in stock configuration, return to normal.

The other switch on position will do the same thing except also ground out the blk/org wire.

In order to do this the switch must have two separate sets of contacts, six all together.
It will be called a double throw double pole (DTDP) center off.

Now doing the lights gets more complicated if you want to use one switch because the light circuit can't mix with the OD circuit or it won't work.
You'll need to use relays, this gets more involved than I want to get into.
Easy if you use separate switches though.
