Doing some pre-archery season mx on the trucks today and while greasing the u-joints I noticed the front driveshaft on one of them doesn't spin freely, or as freely as the other 2. I can spin it by hand but it only turns about 1/2 turn before it gets difficult; say it goes from spinning easy with one hand to just about all I can do with both hands. Feels like something oval is rubbing somewhere but I can't hear anything in the pumpkin or t-case. Maybe I'll drop the u-joint and spin both ends to figure out which side the problem is coming from. It's full of AFT-4 and seems to work when engaged both in 4H and 4L as well as N. I'm darn sure it wasn't like this 6 months ago when I greased it........usually have to spin the shaft to get the zerk lined up. Just want to make sure it isn't preparing to grenade itself. It's on the 96 and is pushing 400k. 4WD is used weekly on this truck as well. thanks in advance for any help, cd
