12v problems
I have a 1994 3500, always started on first revolution, just turned 400,000 miles. Ran it real low on fuel but not out, got in to start it and all it would do is turn over and ever once and a while it would start real rough and only run about a minute with white smoke bellowing out. Its been awhile since i replaced fuel filter so i changed it made sure it was bled and it did the same thing. The fuel it getting to the filter but not any futher or just a small amount. Which way should I go now, Help!
I suspect you ran it low enough to get air in the line. After filling the tank the air progressed up the line causing starvation. I have never done this with this engine but I did with my diesel tractor. My solution then was to bleed the injectors.
No. Infidel here has a process where he has a special fuel cap with a tire stem in it. Pressures the fuel tank up to maybe 3-4 psi and opens the bleeder on the outlet of the fuel filter. A couple minutes of that gets you fuel to the pump.
