12v cummins TDC

12v cummins TDC
I have a 1994 2500 cummins. I recently removed the head to change the head gasket.
I have it all back together. I just installed the rocker back in and I'm having trouble adjusting the valve lash because I didn't not set the truck to TDC before I pulled the head.
Any help would be great.

Unless you adjusted your rockers while disassembly, or put in a thicker gasket, they will be close enough to watch for valve overlap. On cylinder one, as one valve begins the close, another will begin to open. When they are both slightly open, you at TDC on the exhaust stroke on #1. This is TDC compression on #6. When you are on overlap on #6, you are at TDC compression on number one. This by far the easiest way to turn you engine to set the valves.
