overdrive/tans temp

I just put a gorend triple disc in and now the trans temp light is on and it won't shift into overdrive.... is there a way to bypass it and just put adifferent on off switch for overdrive

there are three wires coming out of the harness on the trans that control the OD and lockup. the orange wire is the OD you can wire it to a switch that controlled by ground and run it that way.

the orange wire is for lockup i need to jump the overdrive cause it don't work with the trans temp. light on

then its the other color wire not the thick blue one in the middle. But you can just wire it to a switch that is controlled by ground.

it worked the only problem is it doesn't come out of overdrive if its still in lockup.. guess i need a valvebody

Nope, thats normal when you wire the overdrive to a switch. Because you then bypass the computer, which unlocks the convertor before shifting outa overdrive.
