Good news!
After he had removed all those "pesky hoses" the day before yesterday himself, he had another MR and they found that the exit of his stomach had extended enough to make food pass at sufficient speed. He ate 2 meals, and everything looks good. Yesterday they brought him home, and being back home with the people he likes and trusts is doing him good.

Well now for the not so good news- and this will explain why I have been under the radar for some time now.
After his first day at work he developed a blockage of his small intestine. He did not want to go back to the hospital so he did not talk to anybody about the pain. Everything he had eaten for some days has backed up, extended the small intestine and caused a necrosis.
When he started vomiting he was brought to the hospital, 6.5 hours on the table, deepsleep now.
At the moment he has no sufficient blood pressure on his own and he has no function of the intestines.
His blood has also been poisoned by the dead parts of his intestine, and some of the material in the intestine got through a rupture into the abdominal cavity.
That's all I know at this moment...

Today's update is that there is no change. They will try to get a stomach tube further down and relieve the pressure and get the small intestine swelling under control. The bad part is that the stuff in the intestines starts to rot and gets poisonous if it is stuck too long.
I want to say thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts that come from the good people on this site.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Just reading some of your problems for the first time. Dang, that is a hard, bumpy and all too long a road you are traveling right now. You have my sympathies and prayers for your brother, you and the rest of the family.
