Average life expectancy of rear rotors

I am looking to replace a 91 ctd and trying to decide whether to stay with a 1st gen or move up to a 2nd gen .Can buy a 2001.5 2500 4x4 fairly reasonable but am concerned with running rear discs . My trucks are for farm work as well as towing and pleasure driving . How are the rear rotors on these standing up .Our roads can have road salt applied anytime from oct thru april ,are these rotors prone to corrosion?I know different brands will perform differently just looking for opinions. Also do the calipers tend to stick in the brackets? How do the rear discs behave on slippery roads ?

Thanks for any info.

I have a 2001 with 4 wheel disc's .I just turned over 58K and need a brake job in next couple thousand (never been touched) The truck has no unusual wear and stops on a dime. All 4 are worn about the same. Hope that helps.BG

I have 200k on my rear rotors and have no plans of changing them anytime soon as they are still fine. They are on their second set of pads (original and one replacement set) so far.

HI
I have 125 K on mine, changed pads once, they start to rust but still ok.
Had change the front rotors due to rust . I could not get them over the hubs in one pice.
We have alot of snow, rain and salt 6 months a year here.
