So I am a long time lurker, anyway used the search function to attack the GPS solenoid and transducer, replaced both this morning, replaced fluid and filter while I was in there, now truck exhibits strange shifting from 1-2 and will not shift any higher, it does shift into 1st when I come to a stop now but, 1st & 2nd is it....any help ideas greatly appreciated

pulled truck back in shop and dropped pan again, and immediately ID'd what I had done wrong, the solenoid has two grooves on body of unit that hold it in place, I used the wrong groove/slot to secure the solenoid, removed it and re-installed (pushed all the way in ands secure by proper groove/slot and working like a champ...

thanks, one of your post that i found using the search function was what i went by, i have also used this site for lift pump, VP44 issues, and steering upgrades, place is a great source for info, thanks to all the members...
