thinking about selling
I have a 93 extra cab that we have out grown. It doesn't get used too often. Bought it to travel back and forth to build our vacation/retirement home. Now its the home depot truck performing hauling a couple pots of flowers and a bag or two of potting soil to keep my wife happy. It has 127000 miles and the interior is in pretty dran good shape. Need a hand rest on passenger side and I can't seem to fine those. The outside has the typical faded or peeling clear coat and a few scraps and dings from 2x4 and stuff. This dang thing is a tank and it doesn't break. What do yo guys think its worth? I am looking to buy a club cab 4WD truck so my growing kids can get into the back when we go up to the house or skiing. What do you guys think?
Oh, thinking about a 04 or 06 crew cab, Cummins of course

Here is mine when i was taking it to the new owner.
Its hard to give pricing as area, condition, options dictate that.
I usually look at the local ads and price from there.

The range is crazy. They go from 3000 to 10000. My truck hasn't seen any hard work at all with low miles. I am hoping to get a few buck for it. Those newer trucks are sure nice. The jump seats aren't working out for my growing kids for interstate travel. They are unsafe.

Ya the range was a little crazy in my neck of the woods too. Mine went for 14000 CAD and i still lost money, had a ton of time and money into it but i was happy enough with that price. It provided a few good years of service.
When i was looking i couldn't find anything clean/maintained and no rust for under 7k.
Here was mine doing what it did best.

14000????? Fooking crazy. For many down here, its just an old beat up truck. Dang, my truck doesn't have one bit of rust on it and have a stack of receipt I have kept over the years. The peeling clear coat made it look like crap. I am even thinking about getting painted then sell. the interior is great, not torn up at all. I travel back and forth to build my little house and racked up all that miles driving through the desert into the hills. How did you sell yours? E bay, or ?

Ya i made the mistake of putting it under lloydminster on kijiji, which shows only on the alberta search. Had i put it under saskatoon or something on the sask side it may have gotten better exposure.

Local ad, kijiji.
I had all new 3" Alcan suspension, bilstein shocks, air bags, slip tank which fed stock tank by electric switch, crossover steering, dual disk clutch, Gear Vendors OD, LED headlights, upgraded intercooler, he351 turbo, 33" tires, etc. approx. 260k kms.
Sold it to an old bachelor farmer out in rimbey AB, said he had one when he was young and wanted one again lol. He uses it for checking his fields.

Lots of stuff has been done to yours. Only thing I did was install a new pump die to some seepage. I didn't want to chance if my wife was in the truck and broke down on the way to the house with the kids. I will never hear the end of it. Overall, the truck has been dead reliable. I really like the truck and will be sad to sell it. Because its a "truck" unlike the newer luxo-boats. Must do it for the family.

hmm, must have missed it. I'm always looking for cool stuff on there. I have read a lot about that truck and am in the slow process of some of the above upgrades on one of my own. Would have been quicker and probably cheaper to just buy yours. LOL Oh well, you snooze you lose.

Ya i sold mine for the same reason, acquired a new GF and youngen. Needed room to fit everyone and some nicer comforts.
I still miss the old truck now and then but mostly just the compliments i used to get lol.
I don't miss the driving at all, other than the standard trans when pulling.
The newer trucks are so much quieter its crazy, i honestly don't miss the noise either.

Thrub- ya too bad. i felt badly about selling it to a farmer to check fields but he had the money so i wasn't complaining too much. I had already bought my 3rd gen so the sale of my 1st almost paid for the newer truck.
If you have any questions or need a hand with anything just give me a shout.
I still have an odd part or two from my 1st gen but not much (stock turbo/IC, new head BOLTS, custom tire-gate tailgate for hauling with a 5th wheel)
