Mud Tires

Has anyone heard of or ran a set of Remington Mud Brute's? They look like they will make some noise and make some mud tracks. My real issue with them they are load rating D.
Thanks
Justin

Dieselpower magazine just did a test and TOYO open country M/T , load E came in 1st place. said they're awesome in the mud and not too noisy.

my buddy has a set of open country M/T's on his 95 F350 and they are not too noisy and are at 1/2 tread and still rip through mud.

I havent run the mud brutes on my Dodge but i too ran some on a Toyota Tacoma, got dang near 60,000 out of both sets and never had a problem in the mud or sand and they were not really that noisy. I have run swampers TSL's, Boggers the Mud Brutes, Maxxis Buckshots and The Toyos. The loudest were deff the Swampers followed by the Toyos then Buckshots and last the Mud Brutes. You couldnt hear them over the flowmaster on the toyota. I deff plan to look for a set when my current tires wear out. I bought my first ones about 2004 for 89.00 a tire and the second for 121.00 and I hear they have gone up again due to growing pop.

Well I got a quote on a set of 265/75r16, cash and carry for 630$. I can mount and balance at work so there is no problem there. I called around and for the same size BFG KM2 I'm looking at 1100 cash and carry, but these are Load E. I've alway had luck with the BFG will lots of miles out of sets. I don't care about the noise of the tire, I was just saying they look like they'll make some noise.
To Honest I'm worried about the weight of the truck over these tires, and them only lasting a year or so. I've searched for reviews on the net and everyone seems happy with them, but then again they are mostly jeep and Yota guys, where the weight comparison is not even in the same ball park.
But I think I'm gonna give them a try.

I ran the Remington before lasted me about 18k but that was on miles of dirt road then one blew with very little tread left it was an ok tire I really like the Toyos got 50k on them, but mostly hwy. yesterday I just installed a set of Fierce MTs on my 90 .305/70-16s check them out so far no noise out of them and they have a 3/4" bead guard on them and a real aggressive look too and a fair price too I had a set of Toyo 305s on but the Fierce look much wider because of the design ...Made by Kelly tire (Goodyear)

Ok Rebal, I've called around town to check on pricing. None of the good year stores have even heard of them. I found a couple of web sites, which are givin me a 200ish each price, plus shipping.
So where did you get your set at? I really like the specs on the tire and they look like they have good sidewall protection which is a good thing for me being out in the desart.

Ok. Found someone that knew what they were talking about. No one on the left cost stocks them, they would be on the back of a donkey from the right cost, he said 197 each. He told me the hankook rto3 mt would compair with that tire and would cash and carry them for 189.99 each and could have them on monday for me. I looked that tire up and they look like the old BFG KM's with load E. What you think?

I like those. My stepdad runs them on my above mentioned Toyota which I sold him. I has nothing but good to say about them.
