Canada = Oil leaks
On the way back from Canada I notice my truck oil pressure was getting really low. I pulled over, looking the engine over I see a heavy oil leak from the tappet cover (again). Filled the truck back up with oil and tighten the nuts down... which slowed the leak down.
I have no coolant, which I notice under the turbo there is a rubber pipe that goes into the block.. is this oil or coolant? Seems to close to the pan to be coolant.

I have never had a truck with a Tappet cover problem like you have. If you said the nuts were loose I would ask why that is? You must have an auto trans to have the coolant elbows that you are wondering about. Those elbows if oem are just about flawless, it's the heat exchanger for your auto trans.

Sounds like the transmission fluid heat exchanger is giving up. Hopefully it hasn't dumped a bunch of transmission fluid into the cooling system or vice versa.

Not to mention the fresher Canadian air likely made your polluted NY oil puke out.
Check the turbo drain going into the block, and pull your turbo intake tube to check for oil contamination - that would indicate a bearing/seal failure on the turbo.
