Won't shut off after gsk install

Cranks fine, idles a little higher but it won't shut off. What did I screw up ???

Governor Spring Kit, had to google that one!

Sounds like maybe the top wasn't put back on properly.

Does the manual shut down lever kill the motor?
Throttle works properly?

If you went in from the side you need to check that you did not mount the solenoid too high.

I went in from the side. I took the solenoid and bracket off. It was getting late last night so I didn't mess with it. I was just worried it might be someting in the pump.
