They said this on the site. Correct?

"Biodiesel reduces the classic diesel engine "knocking" noise"

Most engines are noticeably quieter with just 3% (B3) percentage BD. B20 seems to be about the best cost effective rate.

My bet is by the next time fuel prices spike that BD will be cheaper than petrodiesel.
BD production is increasing rapidly, in 2003 just over 7000 people were employed in the BD industry, by 2008 it's expected that over 150,000 will be employed. Good for the American economy.

Many states have passed laws, none of which have gone into effect yet, that will require all diesel to contain a certain percentage BD. The law is already in effect in many states and localities that government owned diesels burn BD. Federal law will require federal agencies use at least B2 diesel fuel by 2007 and B20 by 2012.

Rudolph Diesel would approve!

Diesel demonstrated his engine at the Exhibition Fair in Paris, France in 1898. This engine stood as an example of Diesel's vision because it was fueled by peanut oil - the "original" biodiesel. He thought that the utilization of a biomass fuel was the real future of his engine. He hoped that it would provide a way for the smaller industries, farmers, and "commonfolk" a means of competing with the monopolizing industries, which controlled all energy production at that time, as well as serve as an alternative for the inefficient fuel consumption of the steam engine. As a result of Diesel's vision, compression ignited engines were powered by a biomass fuel, vegetable oil, until the 1920's and are being powered again, today, by biodiesel.
