Get the 09 or wait for the 2010?????

Talked to my accountant last week and he says it's time for a new truck. (for depreciation purposes)
I was thinking an SUV but I don't really like anything that DC sells, and now that GM stands for Govt. Motors I'm not about to buy one of them and Toyotas are too darned expensive.
So I figured I'd get the closest thing to an SUV and go with a Mega cab.
A couple of issues though.
The short bed thing gives some concern if I want to tow a fifth wheel camper but I'll still have the 12V beast in the stable.
I'd prefer to not get the dually but it seems most of the inventory I'm seeing are duallies.
I would also like to go with the 3.42 differential.
Does anyone know the real differences between the 2 yr models?
Pros and cons for each?
What about the whole LP issue that the early 24V engines were having, is that still a problem?
As you can see I really haven't been following anything but the 12V issues.
Any insight from you good folks would be greatly appreciated!!

Find your Mega Cab, tell your accountant you need some body work on the truck and run it down the road to Elm Mott and get it stretched and put the 8ft bed on it.

One beautiful thing.

The new crew cabs (mega cab is no more) now have an 8' bed. Only thing is, it's only on the 3500 DRW's/

You're saying that they are not making the Mega Cab in 2010 or did they just change the name?
I can't seem to find a lot about those 2010s

Wait for the 2010. Way nicer interior, more standard features and lower price(according to Dodge). Emissions are unchanged for pickups, but urea injection for C&C's.

What for the 2010 truck. The 2009 will depreciate extremely fast due to the new model coming out.

2010 will also depreciate fast. All vehicles do-- they are NOT investments unless you are using them to make money (as many of you business guys are).

I'd wait for the 2010. Engine package is essentially carryover from 09. So you get all the benefits of a mature engine/trans, but in a FAR better truck. The new interior and seats alone are worth the wait, never mind the awesome good looks and neat electronic gizmos.

I won't be in the market for a truck any time soon, but man the new ones sure get me wishin'....

So all the problems of the previous years have been fixed in the '10's. What will the new ones be?

Ok so what about a turbo back exhaust system for these 6.7s?
I've been reading and I believe that there is some code issues in doing so as well as warranty issues.
I don't want louder just free flowing.

Another vote for getting the 2010 Mega. Also you should do the longbed conversion to it. I can't wait to see the first 2010 Megacab longbed.

Now I gotta decide If I want to go straight bed or dually!?!?!?
I didn't really want or need a dually but the picks of this one looks pretty darn good! It actually appears (at least in the pics)narrower than other duallies.

If you don't need or want a dually, don't get one. Go with the SRW.
