I'm here! Well, been out for awhile....still here just away from the puter thing. Well, our numbers are around 7 guys for our dyno day and I can say from a business stand point that would not be impressive to any vendor. I think he was looking for something a bit higher.... I have not heard anything from the TDR guys as far as emails go. So it looks like it'll just be us so far. I have to try and swap weekends with our other road guy, found out I'm actually on call that weekend!! It should be ok, he was willing to take over every weekend a few months ago! I could not go for that, when I don't have any calls that free 4 hours of pay is nice!

With the people we have I think that my grill should do the trick, just have to make sure my little multi-purpose trailer is not full of feed that weekend! I'm gonna try and go through and compile a list of who is for sure gonna be there and dyno and post it here. Then this week get ahold of the dyno guy and make sure it's still good with him.

I'm getting ready to drop $550 on a pistol......sooooo, no mods on my truck for awhile, so it'll be bone stock....well minus the BHAF and gauges. Although, I am getting ready to change my garden tractor shop back into a metal fab shop and start working on a front bumper for the truck. May or may not be ready for the meet though. I was driving home last night and had a cool idea for some jumper cables, integrated with the front bumper.....don't want to give to much away however.

Well one month countdown to the dyno day. So far this is what I got, actually think our first meet was larger

5- Boz (assumed that since your post said, "going in tuesday" that by Saturday you would be thinking about the dyno
6- Dodgeguy, yes I'll dyno, someone said you needed base numbers so when you started the mods you knew where you were going....so what the heck. Plus my boss said he will pull my on call duty that day.....SO I'M FREE!!!!

So far it seems as though it would be easier to just run down to the sonic or something for lunch on that day. If I Missed your name and you have already told me, REMIND ME....PLEASE

 

Don't know who yet, but I'm sure a few from MSDTR #31 will show up also. I can't make it as I'll be out of country at this time. But hope to find a willing volunteer to drive my truck over and get it dyno'd. Shouldn't be too hard. Any takers???!!!!!!

 

I WILL be there!!!! Street is needing someone to operate his ride and since I hadnt planned on putting mine on the dyno maybe we will be able to see what his can do!!

 

I will definately be there. I may see if i can bring another guy if he can make it. He's got an 02 w/5" exhaust, Con OFE, and Edge Comp.

 

So ah, since I might be running streetsmokers truck on the dyno, whats the highest HP award gonna be? Money?

White, I believe he said it would be from 8am to 4pm. I have to call this week and confirm that he is still good with it. He said last time, maybe two months ago that he did not see a problem with it.

Dmax, it'll be good to see ya!!! First prize?? Well, it's not about the money, it's about good friends, Dodge trucks, Cummins diesels and lots and lots of smoke!! I guess bragging rights too!! It may just end up being a plack or something. Thought about something cool like a piston and rod assembly on a block of wood engraved.....but maybe next year. Hopefully we can get this first one as our experimental dyno day and next year get more folks, maybe have some food catered and get a vendor to come out.

So far that puts us at 7 trucks for sure and possibly Boz's friend could be 8. If White can make it 9, and whoever he can round up, rgilland would be 10 if he can make it. I'll post more specifics Monday night, as long as I remember to call the dyno guy.

 

What kind of dyno is this again? I'm hoping, but won't be dissapointed if not, to see 600+hp while spraying the bottle. We'll just have to see.

 

well since i bought a 3rd truck i currently have 3, lol. and i know the guy i sold the last one i had too... unfortunately i don't have enough cash to run all on the dyno, but will probably have 2 out of those 4 present, maybe 3. if i ran my wife's 92 it would probably be the lowest of the day.

Streetsmoker, I believe he said it was a dynojet and can run duals without removing the outer wheel........ohhhh no, Streetsmoker is gonna burn the dyno down......... Or should I say, Dmax is gonna burn the dyno down with Streets truck. We know who high hp is gonna be!!

 

If I can make it, I won't dyno. I haven't done anything to my truck since I put down 337. Well, except adj the valves, and I don't think that got me anything. I would just like to come and see some trucks and some smoke!
