The front axle shafts just slide out.
Careful with your inner axle seals. You have to pull the ring gear carryer to replace the seals from the inside. If they are leaking at all or afraid they will leak , If you are doing all that work anyway , good time to replace them. The passinger side seal is out past the axle collar 4x4 lock.

Thanks for the info GSP. My front seals are not leaking now but I'll bet they will when I'm done the way my luck is.
