FASS DDRP Lift Pump and relocation kit questions.

Hi, I know the DDRP is not really a performance upgrade but it is new and came with the truck. It is mounted already but I plan to relocate it near the tank. The kit comes with 3/8 line, At what point do I want to go to 1/2 inch line? I am going 1/2 from Filter housing to Injection pump with better fittings. My plan at this point is just a Quadzilla tuner, Will DDRP keep up at max level? I will upgrade Lift pump at some point.

Thanks

After installing the supplied 1/2" line that came with my 90GPH FASS I reviewed some older threads and found out I didn't really need to go larger than 3/8" unless I had maddening plans to go huge on the horsepower...like past 5-600 or so. I have left the 1/2" in place over the years and stuck with it only because it's a cool color and the fittings that came in the kit are all 1/2"...

The relocation kit comes with 3/8 Line. Most people seem to agree that the 3/8 is plenty.

One thing that I didn't like about the 1/2" line is it's rubber.....the factory line was stainless steel and now resides in the rafters at my shop....

If I frame mount the DDRP will I be able to use the same holes or at least some of them if I move to a Fass 165 or an Airdog down the road? I would rather not keep drilling holes in the frame.

I have the Titanium FASS and I think it came with a bracket for the year of the truck. Or it came with a mostly blank plate to mount the pump too and just drill holes in that plate to line up with factory holes. Its been 12 years since I had it installed so I don't really remember. Either way, I would suggest just getting a scrap piece of 1/8th inch thick plate and finding a few existing holes in the frame and use those to mount the plate to the frame and the pump to the plate. If the new pump doesn't fit on the plate you made for the current one, you aren't out a ton of money and can just drill out a new plate.
