Rain all day here, still raining now, 9 pm EST. Gonna rain all night. Maybe tomorrow nice ? Probably not.
Sold my second job today since this crap started. Normally I'd be on number 10, but at least I'm getting some work. Can't complain, as no one would listen.
Looking forwards to life in some other state besides NJ.
Or death... Whatever comes first.😳

Most of the snow pack in the local hills is gone already. The river however hasn't risen any to show for it. I need to head up to the high mountains and see what's happening there.
40° headed to maybe 60°. Mostly cloudy with little wind. That means mosquito warning.
During my rounds yesterday, I noticed a lot more businesses open for business, especially restaurants. My barber is even open. The medical supply place opened to the public and I was able to get a pair of compression socks.

3 or 4 inches of wet snow last night. They are calling for night temps in the high twenties all week.
That will keep the Skeeters and black flies at bay for at least another week.
Finally got a big job too, though it has been really nice to have some free time to work in the shop with my daughter on our latest 12V build.

Do you get USPS, or ups to your home? I can buy a,couple bottles of skeeters repellant and send them up to you if you can't find them up there.
Let me know.
Cold day today. 34 to 47, and then back down. Not cold by Sasquatch standards, but not the 60* days we were having.
Wife I, and dogs took a NW NJ ride, and drove through some snow squals in a valley of farmland. Weather can be entertaining in May, as you never know what you get here.
No masks ! Omg!! Call the mask police and have an book us, Dan-o

Thanks NJT, but skeeter repellent doesn't work on these monsters. Only kevlar.
Dump day. Did some yard cleaning. Most of it tree branches from last summers clearing. Still got a big pile of logs to cut up. The wife has been working on chinking the cracks in the outside walls. Got some pretty big ones.

6.5 EQ hit Nevada this morning. It was felt over a VERY large area. It also showed up on our Alaska volcano observatory seismometers.
Warm but mostly cloudy day today.

Hi guys - - been a while since stopping to see what is happening. For being quarantined and restricted, I have should be on double time pay - - no time for
anything for myself. Looks like all is quite normal with y'all. Can't believe some of the weather for you, but then I looked at the calendar. May is still snow
possible high north - - hit it in early May on way to Alaska one year. Hit a major snow storm in Yukon in early September on another Alaska trip when we
headed home. Been warm and humid last week or so and really good rain yesterday which we needed. Hit a high of 90 here yesterday - - warmest for
the year so far and quite a bit over norm. Gorgeous today with the pool quite inviting - - maybe right after lunch.
Y'all behave and stay healthy. Hopefully this mess will be over quite soon. Son and wife finally got their boutique opened in Cashiers, NC. Not a lot
of customers but most coming in were buyers. They have a gorgeous inventory this year - - wow, ready to drive up and get some for the wife. Place
is really cute. Stop in and say hi if you are driving thru there - - just steps north from the one main traffic light in town.
Better go to kitchen - - blondie is rattling the pots and pans.

47° and some light rain. That will spoil any outdoor work we had planned. Did cut up some fire wood and installed a dead bolt on the front door yesterday. Paid for it with leg and arm cramps all evening. Winter is one of those things you can get year round up here. I've seen fresh snow on the hills around Anchorage in July before. Alaska is trying to open back up (what's left) by the mayor of Anchorage is hamstringing our efforts.

Supposed to be a nice day today, but you can't tell by looking out the window. It's raining.
The governor is opening the state back up Friday with only a few restrictions. The 2 week quarantine stays in effect until June 5th for anyone coming into the state, nursing home visits limited to family, and they would like us to continuing using our masks and maintain our social distancing when possible.

Well, Cougar. It's good to see your sense of humor,is still about ya. Keep ya distance, and pray for warm, drier weather. Maybe if you attach a thousand if them there famous skeeters to your shoes, you can do some skeeters hand gliding around the neighborhood.
Stay safe......nah! Don't stay safe. Be unsafe, and go breathe someone else's air.

At least I'm not in Wisconsin smelling that spring thaw dairy air like I use to. It's supposed to rain all holiday weekend. Can't complain too much, it'll help keep the idiots from starting another forest fire.

43° and off and on rain.
Today is my last day delivering groceries. So back on unemployment unless they move me to another department which is unlikely.
Heard some "good" news about my previous employer. The chapter 11 is being finished up and should be finalized by June 17. They have loan guarantees to cover payroll which puts them in a good position to sell the airline, part or whole. I don't see how that is good news for laid off employees or the community.

The highway was very busy yesterday. As many people leaving the state as people going recreating. The Canadian border is open with restrictions that go Provence by Provence. Basically they are saying don't stop until you're out of their territory. The economic climate does not look good here. With the businesses we have all ready lost plus the number expected to close by the end of the year, we expect to hit a loss of 40% of our small businesses. Unemployment is 25% (that is 1 in 4) and climbing now with the loss of tourist businesses. Even our State Fair has been cancelled this year. Seasonal businesses that import employees from the lower 48 such as the fishing industry are complaining about the cost of quarantining personnel for 2 weeks before they can go to work.

Installed some under cabinet lights in the kitchen. Then slept the rest of the day.
Anyone else having a problem with craigslist not showing phone numbers?

Censoring ? But for what purpose? Keep the man down by forcing him to use written contact ? Hmmm...
