Doing dumb things ...... repeatedly

Just finished doing some welding and as usual managed to burn myself. This is because I have a bad habit of forgetting where I have just welded and then leaning on the hot weld to do the next weld. Or welding something and then moments later pick up the hot end with my bare hand. How is that for dumb and stupid?
Just for fun, how about some of you sharing some of the dumb things that you have done in your life. Hmmmm, maybe even still do.

Well, all I can say is my life has been an endless stream of dumb mistakes. Seems I'm too dumb to stop repeating them. It looks soo good at the moment, but as they say hindsight is 20/20.

Well, I know people who have married more than once.

I also know people who voted for politicians more than once. Haha

I PERSONALLY know people who took the death jab, way more than once, now have damaged hearts, cardiovascular systems, strokes, uncontrollable blood pressure issues, constantly are ill with debilitating, bed ridden symptoms and I have two specific acquaintances who now require heart transplants. I just talked to a fella I know at one of my suppliers, 44 years old, has been exercising for several decades, eats okay, drinks almost never, doesn't do any drugs, who got 3 jabs, and had a heart attack the other day, which required him to have a stint, now forever on blood thinners till he eventually passes away. I hope there isn't a country wide shortage of blood thinners which would have him pass "before his time".

Me personally ?

I keep dumping more and more money into a 32 year old truck, as I'm beyond the pale where I can recover the investment into it. No ! I'm not telling you which truck it is, I'm speaking of !!

Okay, I am gullible ? I believe people I know say that they will do something, then they don't follow through. And then I believe again! What an ar$e !

Yeah, having faith in other humans can be very trying at times.

Okay,

Trying to win a fight with my wife !

Haha,

I'll never learn !

Speaking of doing dumb maneuvers, don't stand under the eve when you're pulling snow and ice off the roof! It may come off in one BIG sheet.

I am probably the only person that has this problem but let me tell you what happened this afternoon, Was working outside and had a screwdriver in my hand. Never moved more than 10 feet in any direction, but lost the screwdriver. Looked everywhere for it, but could not find it. Hours later happened to see it on the windowsill where I had obviously absentmindedly put it down. I also have a great talent for losing tools or parts while sitting.
Of course, as I said, I am sure that nobody else on this site does things like this Right?

Stan, you're not alone in that. I misplaced my hair a long time ago, still can't find it. I'm sure you have those "here after" doors or archways. You walk through only to say what am I here after.

The root cause of these type of problems are doorways or arches. Going through one causes an energy flux resulting in memory loss. It is necessary to go back through them again to reverse the energy flow and restore memory. An arch shaped entry way has a tenancy to generate a negative flux force that can only be measured with a special order high capacity, very expensive, reverse field flux meter. Some archways also generate some sort of known but immeasurable rays that sometimes are mainly activated by males only passing through them and the results after frequent traversing is hair loss.

So, I can tell you this.

These smart phones make you stupid.

Cannot tell you how many times I've gotten ready to go somewhere, whether it's leaving the gym, or heading out of the house.

Looking all over for my phone. On the table, on the desk, in the kitchen.

Then I realize.....

The entire time, it's in my freaking hand.

Don't ask me how, because I don't have a clue.

Looking for my glasses and they are on my face! Because I put them on to look for my glasses. Dropping things because you forget it's in your hand. I've lost a lot of hardware that way.
