I really like the way the lights are in Kazakhstan. there is a timer next to each light indicating how long its going to stay that color.
If its green, you know you got 2 seconds till a yellow and you can go ahead and let off to safely stop or run the yellow.
The otherside of that, it turns yellow. lock up all four tires and maybe that cop will try to park under you next time.

Here, it's written so that you are suppose to stop when the light changes to yellow. If unable to stop safely, you may proced through the yellow, but you shall not proced through a red. If an officer enforced it, the appropriate citation would be for disregarding a steady yellow. Just some trivia for ya.

Just like people, there's good cops and bad. I've been pulled over for no front tag, yet I had a front tag. I showed it to him and he then said he had to give me a warning to document the stop. It was all crap. If I would have had a cell phone with a camera, I woulda snapped a pic of my plate and the warning with his car in the background and complained. This was a bad one just wanting to flex his muscle. It was obvious because of the way he was talking and threatening me to write up all kinds of tickets . All I could do was try to be nice and respectable, even though this one did not deserve it. Another one in Brazoria county, where they obviously run a speed trap with a speed limit of 65 for mile then one small section of road about 200 yards long where it drops to 60. You can see the sign raising it back to 65 while standing next to the 60 sign. I saw it and had my foot on the brake. had to be down to 61 or 62 when i rolled past the sign. That idiot looked at every inch of the truck and trailer. I would have refused if he insisted on looking inside the trailer. Both of these LEO's were an insult to real LEO's.

I had a montana cop whip his car around and chase me down for that.
He said I was 5 over and just gave me a verbal warning, but since there was NO ONE on the road besides me and him and my radar detector didn't chime, I doubt he would have wasted his time for that.

I was driving through a small town one day and had a bright RED Ford get behind me with red flashing lights and a siren, I was in the right lane, left lane was open and I got over as far as I could on the shoulder so the Fire Chief could go around me, he wouldn't....he stuck to me like glue

I finally pulled completely off the road and he pulled in behind and walked up to the car, the POLICE Officer then proceeded to give me a ticket for being 5 over and he asked why I did not stop immediately?

I told him the red car made me think he was Fire Dept and I could not understand why he would not go around me.... He smiled and said "they get that a lot... Sign here and have a nice day"

Reminds me of the "public safety" agencies. You'll see a big ladder truck out taking a police report at a neighbor dispute...

Whats the matter? have a hard time taking responsibility for your OWN actions? and prefer to blame it on the guy just doing the job we pay him to do?

I never got a ticket I didn't earn, the Motor Vehicle Code is pretty simple to understand, I just made a choice to ignore it a few times and it cost me money when I did.
