Original body parts
I'm going to look at a set of front fenders tonight. The guy says they're original. Is there any way to tell ?? Stamps, markings?

Chysler put their logo on the inside of the fenders. A lot of the tawian fenders will also be stamped with "Made in ta wain". Be careful though, some of the fenders I get don't have anything on them as far as markings. Companies have been peeling the stickers off so that people will buy them as OEM. As far as I can tell, all the OEM fenders I have are stamped on the inside support bracket.

I just looked some more at the sets I have, the tawaiin/China don't spot weld the inside skin to the outside. A lot of flex/play right there. The ones I have that are OEM are spot welded. That might be how they came from factory? I only have one factory set so it's hard to say if that is true or not.

Just picked them up. Along the top where it's pinch welded it is stamped mopar. So even if they aren't original they are true mopar parts. Which is good enough for me. I have a bit of work to do on them but I'm sure they'll fit better then the Chinese crap I paid 400 bucks for. Originals only cost me 60 for both!
