After intense searching, reading on my diagnosis, it all ended up being that the thrust bearing on my crankshaft broke and was found in the bottom of the oil pan. Looking back, I remember seeing a lot more idle smoke before I tore into it. It's been taking me this long to get it repaired cause I can only work on it here and there every other Saturday if I'm lucky. Being away from home sucks big nards, man, cause the maintenance on the house keeps building up! Anyway, thought I'd check in, and maybe give you another insight on the idle haze you were having? Hope to gosh it isn't a thrust bearing in your case, cause getting to the crank with engine still in truck is an ordeal, along with replacing the crank bearings. I am swapping in new piston rod bearings while in there, also.
