I would start with checking lift pump pressure. Start eliminating what you can before throwing parts at it. Does it start easily? Are your batteries/charging system working properly. It could be any number of things.

Mind had similar issues. Turned out my injectors were getting out of spec. I think they were just a little off but after I put 100hp tips on them it caused the problem that you are having.

 

Sorry, I thought someone else may jump in and splain it. Simply put, there is a shrader valve on the fuel supply line to the injection pump. It's on the side of the I.P. If your looking at the motor standing by the drivers side front tire, it's right in front of you. Hook fuel pressure gauge to shrader port and "bump" key. Pump should run for 20-30 seconds and you should see about 12psi, hopefully.
